Welcome to St Margaret's Church, Rainham in Kent!

Wherever you stand in the Parish of Rainham, if you look up you are bound to catch a glimpse sooner or later of our magnificent tower, standing as a witness to faithful Christian worship since its construction many centuries ago. Or maybe you will hear the peel of the bells, carried on the breeze, a timeless reminder of a worshipping community with a mission of outreach and service to the people of Rainham and beyond!
We are a large parish of over 30,000 souls, but through the love and dedication of our congregation to Christ and His calling, we are able to support 3 full time clergy and a Youth Worker.

St Margaret's is made of Living Stones too! Whilst we face the challenge to preserve our building for future generations, we also know that as part of the worshipping community of Rainham, together we form the living stones of St Margaret's church. | This site has been designed to introduce you to our church, its services and activities and to encourage you, wherever you are, to explore our Christian faith and know the love of Christ in your lives.
We are currently faced with an enormous challenge to raise £1million to save our church roof structure from an advanced state of decay. Perhaps you are reading this now in response to our Living Landmark leaflet? I warmly invite you to take a while and browse our site and see the outworking of our living faith, here in Rainham.
